Drama Outing

It was September 3 when Jack 5 and Jack 6 finally performed for our Term 3 Drama exam. That weekend itself we went to ‘celebrate’, bout half the class was able to make it.

Our Saturday (September 5) started off with Amran, Kee Keng, Mars, Naomy, and I meeting at Hoyts, Melbourne Central at around 2pm. We decided to watch The Taking of Pelham 123, which in my opinion was a rather good movie. The movie ended around 4.30pm so we went to check out stuff and Harvey Norman across the street in QV.

 
It was 5pm, the time we decided to meet with the rest who were gonna join us for dinner. That’s Kee Keng on the left; and on the right: Jia Wen, Gin, Amran, Mars, me, Angela.

 
So yup, we took the train from Melbourne Central to Sofia, Camberwell for dinner. Remember, that Italian restaurant with the ridiculously huge servings? xD [click here if you don’t]

  
Risotto, garlic mussels, spaghetti marinara, seafood platter, smoked salmon pizza, lemon meringue pie, Mars chocolate cake.

It was a little before 8pm when we left Camberwell and headed back to the city via train.

Angela and Jia Wen headed back home while the rest of us headed over to Hungry Jack’s to visit Naomy (had to work cause her boss called her in - wasn’t able to join us for dinner).

It was about 8.15pm then so we decided to chill there and wait for Naomy to get off at 9pm.

 
Sometime in that period, we obviously got bored. So when Amran went to send Cherry off, Kee Keng, Gin, and myself decided to just freeze. As in ya know, not move like statues kinda freeze. It was quite a while before he returned. And when he did, he picked up Kee Keng’s camera and started snapping away.

While he did this, this guy who was sitting at the next table decided to join in the fun. xD
He posed (as seen in the picture above) for Amran to take a photo of him. Damn funny.

FINALLY, 9pm came. Then it was 9.10pm. And 9.20pm. Naomy had to stay for another hour. So the four of us decided to go out for a walk before returning to Hungry Jack’s.

 
Headed down Swanston and on to St Kilda Road and there we were at the Arts Precinct.

Then we walked around a little more and found this other spot to take a couple of shots:

A little past 10pm, we headed back to Hungry Jack’s and Naomy joined us. Decided to head over to the suburb of Brunswick via tram to have a drink as well as to send Gin back. Joined by Mei and Mizi on the tram. After that, came back home around 1am if I’m not mistaken.
